Ultrafiltration is a membrane separation technology driven by pressure. The filtration pore size of the ultrafiltration membrane element is between 0.002-0.1μm, which can intercept macromolecular substances such as bacteria, colloids, suspended solids and proteins in raw water. Under a certain driving force, the raw water flows through the surface of the ultrafiltration membrane, the impurities will be intercepted, and the clean water will flow out from the other end. Suspended impurities trapped on the surface of the membrane are washed and removed by a backwashing device with a set timing.
A complete set of ultrafiltration (UF) treatment system should include: booster pump, sand & carbon pretreatment equipment, membrane module host, control system, backwash and CIP cleaning system, and the system composition can also be adjusted according to different usage occasions.

Ultrafiltration (UF) water purification system application range
Mineral water purification, pretreatment of RO pure water system and reuse water system, removal of fine particles, rainwater purification and filtration, etc. At the same time, the ultrafiltration membrane has a molecular weight cut-off of 500Da, which can be used alone for the concentration and separation of proteins and macromolecular organic matter. Combining the characteristics of nanofiltration (NF) and reverse osmosis (RO) to achieve the separation, concentration and purification of multi-component solutions.
Ultrafiltration characteristics and design:
●It can effectively remove large particles, colloids, suspended solids, bacteria, heat sources
● Can reduce 3-8% organic matter in wastewater
● Automatic timed backwashing operation, unattended
● Design with chemical cleaning device, regular chemical cleaning
● The system runs automatically, fault alarm
● Modular or container design, minimizing on-site installation workload
